ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer Day. Fly to Nice or Genoa. Try to arrive before 5pm for a comfortable transfer to your resort village on the Riviera coast. Allow 2h30 for the drive from Nice airport and 0h30 from Genoa airport. View details about the village of Arenzano. View details of your hotel in Arenzano where you'll be staying for the first 2 nights.
Day 4: Imperia and the Olive Roads. View photos of Dolcedo, a picturesque village in the Imperia hinterlands.
Day 5: Argentina valley and the village of the witches. View photos of Badalucco, one of many 'timeless' villages in the Argentina valley. View photos of the village of Triora where you will be staying for the night.
Day 6: Passes of the Upper Nervia valley. View photos of Baiardo which overlooks the upper Nervia valley. View details of your hotel in Pigna where you'll be staying for the next 2 nights.
Day 7: Perched villages of the Nervia valley. View photos of Apricale, perhaps one of the most 'magical' villages in Italy. View photos of Dolceacqua, a very picturesque village in the lower Nervia valley.
Day 8: Transfer day. Try and arrange your return flight in the afternoon for a comfortable transfer back to Nice airport (1h30) or Genoa airport (2h00).

Flights and car-hire not included. Western Liguria is mild and comfortable at at pretty much all times of the year except for perhaps the odd week or two in July and August. Best months to visit are April, May, June, September, October - book at least 2 or more months in advance to secure the best accommodation. The winter months of November to March are generally mild and ideal for those who want to really feel that they've 'got away'. December to March is the best time for snow-capped mountains in the background of your photos.
