A Hotel for all the family. This gracious hotel owned by the “Tixe” family, placed in elegant surroundings along a beach-front atmosphere which opens the Riviera of Ponente. This luxurious building was built in the year 1890 and was originally a villa belonging to a Lord of Arenzano. It then became the property of a noble family from Genoa. The environment is excellent, refined and very relaxing!
ROOMS All rooms have en-suite facilities. Since this resort village is on the steep slopes of these high coastal mountains, just before they enter the sea, the beach is stony and not ideal for those wishing to spend a few days lying on a sandy beach. However, there are sandy beaches just 10 minutes away on the local train. This seaside break is more suited to those who want to stay by the sea, and perhaps visit Genoa (just 20 minutes away) and explore more of the seaside villages along this rugged and very picturesque stretch of the Ligurian coast.
We suggest the following as things to do during your stay; - A day in the sandy beach resort of Varazze just 10 minutes away by train. - A day in Genoa for shopping and the historic port with restaurants and cafes. - During summer months, we thoroughly recommend a full day boat trip along the coast to Portofino where you'll have half a day to relax and swim before taking the boat back. - A full day cycle ride along the coast following the old railway line.

1. Prices in 'euros' and based on 2 people sharing a double room,
otherwise a single supplement applies. Prices for bookings during
the winter months can be up to 20% less. Flights and transfers
not included unless specified.
2. The hotels, guest houses and B&Bs presented represent
some of the more charming places to stay and are very well situated
for exploring the surrounding towns, cities and countryside -
always within easy reach of a regional airport. Having visited
virtually all hotels in each of the places presented, we believe
these hotels offer the best combination of price and quality
available.
3. FLY-TRAIN holidays: fly to the recommended airport
and take a train to the place you will be staying for your Short
Break. Airport transfer times are generally less than 1 hour
by train.
4. FLY-MEETU holidays: fly to the recommended airport
where we will meet you on your arrival at the nearest airport
or mainline railway station, and take you to your hotel either
by car or mini-bus.
5. FLY-DRIVE holidays: these short-breaks are typically
in places that are not served by regular public transport or
areas deserving further independent exploration under your own
steam. Therefore, we thoroughly recommend that you arrange car-hire
at your point of arrival in Italy, or use your own car if driving
down.
6. All our Short Breaks can be extended by as many days as you
