This marvellous castle offers a great emotion to its visitors with its fascinating and poetical aspect. Its strong and fabulous exterior walls have been built between the IX and the XIV century; in the inner courtyard stands a beautiful Romanesque little Church, built in the 850 ,with its two Roman tombs which dates back to the 4th and 5th century b.C., built for the two ancestors.

It is provided with about 27 rooms (50 beds), divided into single rooms, double rooms, suites and super suites. Our guests firmly believe it is hard to find as much beauty and warmth somewhere else. Wonderful bathrooms, wooden walls’ decorations, grand style furniture infusing a sensation of warmth and pleasure, hardly felt in other occasions. The castle boasts a suggestive interior courtyard paved with carved stones and a beautiful mistery well. The suggestive architecture which surrounds the courtyard is fascinating. It has been built as a fortress to protect the ways from the north-west side; it is surrounded by exceptional and majestic double boundary walls that protected the castle during the centuries. It majestically overlooks the little village called Pavone, dominating it with its spectacular dimensions and fascinating those people which can observe it.
This castle was owned and ruled by different important families, such as the houses of King Arduino, of the Bishop of Ivrea, Ottone , Savoia and its history is famous to be a lucky one. At the end of 1800 the castle has been skilfully restored by the famous Alfredo D’Andrade. In 1992 the works of restoration continued, thanks to the Giodice family, and the castle regained its antique magnificence.
Nowadays it offers the best comforts and the most modern technologies to accommodate the most exigent customers with a delightful hospitality.
THE HOTEL, The hotel, rigorously four stars, offers very charming rooms and suites. The furniture have been suitably chosen to guarantee an unforgettable warm and delicious hospitality.
Equipped with the best conveniences such as mini-bar service, colour TV with satellite antenna and air conditioning for a pleasant and memorable stay. A business affair centre is on hand of our guests; it allows to have an Internet access, a fax service and a multilingual secretarial staff.
THE RESTAURANT, with its modern equipment, offers a very refined cuisine, rich of the best quality of Piedmontese and Mediterranean dishes. It can accommodates up to 800 guests and is divided into quiet and wonderful aristocratic dining-rooms.
All the dining-rooms are skilfully decorated, elegant and exceptionally charming. A dinner, a wedding or a business meeting can assume a different importance and offer to the guests new sensations and unforgettable images you can hardly prove in other places, with an unexpected reply in image, credibility, authoritativeness and good taste.
In this restaurant everything is extremely cared, to start from the comfortable and beautiful Savonarola chairs made with solid wood and painted with medieval ornaments; original persian carpets; the porcelains; the crystals and the beautiful furniture; all these peculiarities make this restaurant one of the most beautiful and unforgettable place in the world.
Quality is its most important characteristic. Menu and wine list include the most esteemed choice and will offer occasions of meetings and conviviality rich of unforgettable pleasure. It is very important to remember that a Wedding, a Business Meeting or a convention made in this castle will be memorable for your guests and You. Everything will be pleasant : the rooms, the scenographyc environment, the savoury cousine, the organization and the poetry of a castle different to all the others.
The inner side of the castle allows to accommodate up to 400 dinner guests, but in the inner park of the castle there is an elegant and comfortable removable pavilion, well heated during the winter, capable to host about 400 guests.

for exploring the surrounding towns, cities and countryside -
always within easy reach of a regional airport. Having visited
virtually all hotels in each of the places presented, we believe

3. FLY-TRAIN holidays: fly to the recommended airport
and take a train to the place you will be staying for your Short
Break. Airport transfer times are generally less than 1 hour
by train.
4. FLY-MEETU holidays: fly to the recommended airport
where we will meet you on your arrival at the nearest airport
or mainline railway station, and take you to your hotel either
by car or mini-bus.
5. FLY-DRIVE holidays: these short-breaks are typically
in places that are not served by regular public transport or
areas deserving further independent exploration under your own
steam. Therefore, we thoroughly recommend that you arrange car-hire
at your point of arrival in Italy, or use your own car if driving
down.
