3 to 6 hours. Minimum time required is 4 hrs. Stroll along the
coastal path with plenty of opportunities to swim, sit on the
beach and peruse the characteristic centres of two Ponente Riviera
resort towns.<BR><BR>
1. <B>Medium Walk</B>:
Graded <B><FONT COLOR="#0000ff">BLUE</FONT></B>, 3 to 6 hrs.<BR>
2. <B>Long Walk</B>: Graded <B><FONT
COLOR="#ff0000">RED</FONT></B>,
4 to 7 hrs.<BR><BR>
<B>Levels of Difficulty</B><BR><BR>
<B><FONT
COLOR="#00ff00">GREEN</FONT></B>
: Requiring no walking experience at all, typically for those
itineraries which offer a scenic way to visit the seaside towns
of the Riviera.<BR>
<B><FONT COLOR="#0000ff">BLUE</FONT></B> : These itineraries
are for those of reasonable fitness and who quite regularly take
leisurely country walks. They will typically take 3-4 hrs and
without too many ups and downs.<BR>
<B><FONT COLOR="#ff0000">RED</FONT></B>
: For those that consider a good walk to last 4-6 hrs and are
not put off by the odd hill climb.<BR>
<B>BLACK</B> : If you want a long day's walk
with a generous sprinkling of ups, including the odd mountain,
then these are the ones to take. Although these trails follow
marked pathways, the terrain is often rugged requiring good walking
gear. A good level of fitness and a 'head for heights' required.<BR><BR>
<B>Back-pack hints</B><BR><BR>
* Bottled water: it is suggested
that you take at least 1.5 litres of water per person and more
during the months of July and August.<BR>
* Mobile phone: should you ever need assistance, phone Xtrallusion
on the number given below at any time. Other than in a few locations,
mobile phone coverage is good and you should never be without
a network for more than a few hundred metres.<BR><BR>
<B>Tips</B><BR><BR>
* There is no great need to
take food with youon this itinerary since there are a multitude
of cafes and small restaurants to 'panin' or a meal. |
