An
unbelievable ski aventure across the Italian Swiss alps. Your
trip includes pick up from Milan Bergamo airport or from Bergamo
train station, and you will be hosted in the traditional Alpine
Village of Teglio in Valtellina. From there your guide will take
you each day to a different famous resort (St Moritz, Livigno,
Bormio etc). Your guide will arrange ski hire and day passes
(included in price) and all the resorts are less than one hour
from your base in Teglio. All transfers are of course included
as well as sumptious evening meals. |

Holiday starts in Bergamo. We will meet you at Milan Bergamo airport or
Bergamo railway station, then drive you to your hotel in Valtellina,
high in the Italian Alps.
Whats Included: Ski pass and ski hire for every ski
resort visited, driver, all transfers, half-board in a 3-Star
hotel.
Whats NOT Included: Flights, lunches.
Duration: Short break skiing holiday (5 nights and 4 full
days). 7 night option available.
Hotels: For this holiday,
you will be staying in a
3-Star hotel in Teglio, Valtellina - your base for skiing a different
resort each day. Half-board accommodation includes breakfast
and local cuisine for your evening meals. |

Day 1 -
Transfer day.
transfer by road from Bergamo
to Valtellina.
2nd - & following days. Ski Valtellina in the Italian
Alps plus St. Moritz in Switzerland. Last Day - Transfer
day. transfer by road back to Bergamo. |

Day 1 - Transfer
Day Transfer day to your 'albergo' in Teglio, Valtellina.
Try to avoid Sunday arrivals and departures.
By plane: Milan Bergamo is a Ryanair hub with 10 flights
a day from UK.
By train: Bergamo railway station is 30 mins on direct
line from Milan. |

Day 2 - Skiing
in Bormio. -
You will be driven after breakfast for a full day skiing in Bormio.
- Dinner back at hotel.
The slopes "Valbella" and "Betulle" enjoy
a great reputation among those who prefer difficult slopes. All
those who prefer to take it easy and enjoy the scenery while
skiing will find wonderful slopes on the "Bimbi al sole". |

Day 3 - Skiing in St.
Moritz. - You will be driven after breakfast
for a full day skiing in St. Moritz.
- Dinner back at hotel.
St. Moritz - Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza are synonymous
with breathtaking and unforgettable skiing experiences. 60 modern
transportation facilities open up on 350 km of snow covered runs
at altitudes from 1800 to 3300 meters above sea level. You, too,
are bound to find your favourite mountain here! |

Day 4 - Skiing
in Livigno. - You will be driven after breakfast for a full
day skiing in Livigno.
- Dinner back at hotel.
Livigno, is known as the "Small Tibet" of Italy, and
because of its cold and dry climate it's one of the most important
ski resorts in the Alps. This 14 km long valley is located between
the valleys Engadina (in Switzerland) and Alta Valtellina (in
Italy). High with a sunny position, the snow is insured from
December to March. |

Day 5 - Skiing in Santa
Caterina. - You will be driven after breakfast
for a full day skiing in Santa Caterina.
- Dinner back at hotel.
With 1000m of vertical above, it's not surprising that Santa
Caterina has a long association with international ski racing
and that it was venue for the Bormio Alpine World Championships
in 2005.
Ski lifts that go to an altitude of 2700 metres with slopes always
perfectly covered in snow, thanks also to a modern programmed
snow installation system skiing can be assured from December
to April. |

Day 6 - Transfer
day. You will be driven back to Bergamo for your return
journey home. |
Extend your
stay: Ski Aprica and Val Malenco. Extend your stay by
2 night and enjoy a full 1 week skiing holiday (7 nights &
6 full days), skiing in the additional resorts of;
- APRICA: Aprica is situated in Valtellina, the most northerly
of Lombardy's provinces. It lies on the mountain pass of Aprica,
a splendid natural plateau between imposing mountain ranges,
at a height of 1181m. The ski slopes are at altitudes between
1,200 and 2,300 metres, allowing you to descend directly from
the top of the mountain to the skiing grounds in Aprica.
- VALMALENCO: Thanks to its geographical position Valmalenco
is always covered in snow from December to April. The equipment
is top level and the great number of ski slopes is served by
a close network of ski lifts, with the modern "Snow Eagle"
cable-way that, in a few minutes takes you from Chiesa to the
ski-area of Alpe Palù, at a height of 2080 mt. It is the
largest cable-car in the world carrying 160 people.

*** Guide refers to your driver/escort who will take you to and
from each ski resort visited. They will also arrange ski hire
and passes for you. Guided means more of an 'escort/chauffeur'
since you will be driven to the resorts but not guided around
the mountains during the days skiing. You will be free to ski
where you wish.
