The "Cappella degli Scrovegni", with the most complete collection of works by Giotto, the "Basilica di Sant'Antonio", the "Prato della Valle", the "Orto Botanico", the "Caffè Pedrocchi". Art, history and life of Padua are just a few minutes away by foot. Reaching us is as easy as getting to St. Anthony’s Basilica. Whichever direction you arrive from, just follow signs for the centre of Padova (Padua) and then for the Basilica (as shown below). You’ll find us in the historical “via Belludi”, the street which connects the Basilica to the splendid Prato della Valle.
Padua is 20 Km far form Venice and 18 Km far from Vicenza and Palladio buildings.

The Basilica of Sant’Antonio – for 800 hundreds years centre of attraction of pilgrimages from all over the world. Great celebrations on june 13, event dating back to 1253.
The Cappella degli Scrovegni – masterpiece by Giotto who, in 1300, opens art to modernity .
The University - officially opened in 1222 .Among its eminent teachers :Galileo Galilei who thought here for twenty years.
The Botanical Garden – the most ancient university botanical garden in Europe , opened in 1545 and listed by Unesco as one of the monuments considered to be patrimony of humanity.
The Civic Museum – with masterpieces by Bassano, Tintoretto,Titian, Tiepolo, Guardi, Veronese, Padovanino etc…
The Surroundings – in the hills the thermal waters are known since the Roman era : Abano Terme, Montegrotto, Battaglia Terme… Arquà Petrarca is chosen by the great poet Franceso Petrarca to spend his last years. Este, Monselice, Montagnana, Cittadella and many others ,all ancient towns full of history. The Ville venete – in 1500, Palladio,the great architect, projects his “ville” in the country round Padova and the hills until Vicenza and Venice giving a witness of the great refinement of the time,”ville” that you can see and visit also from the famous venitian boat “the Burchiello” alla along the river Brenta.

3. Fly-Train holidays: fly to the recommended airport
and take a train to the place you will be staying for your Short
Break. For packages with airport transfers included, please note
the following differences;
i). Airport transfer train tickets only: Transfer train tickets
are forwarded to you with your Trip Guide prior to your departure.
ii). Escorted airport transfers by train with separate luggage
transfers: After you have collected your luggage, we will meet
you at the airport arrivals hall and accompany you to your hotel
by train. Your luggage will be taken separately to your hotel,
leaving you free to travel in comfort. Escorted transfers are
only available on Short Breaks arriving and departing on Wednesdays
and Sundays, unless stated otherwise.
iii). Airport transfer times are generally less than 1 hour by
train, and are often included in the package price.
4. Fly-MeetU holidays: fly to the recommended airport
where we will meet you on your arrival and take you to your hotel
either by car or mini-bus.
5. Fly-Drive holidays: these short-breaks are typically
in places that are not served by regular public transport or
areas deserving further independent exploration under your own
steam. Therefore, we thoroughly recommend that you arrange car-hire
at your point of arrival in Italy, or use your own car if driving
down.
6. All our Short Breaks can be extended by as many days as you
wish - please ask for a quotation.
