Located a few metres from the sea in the historic centre of Spotorno, this Villa Hotel offers gardens & terraces, and private beach. Built at the end of the 19th century as a home for the well known and wealthy Berlingeri family. Later it was inherited by Antonio’s son Achille Berlingeri (1893 – 1967). Achille married a girl from Milan who was immediately attracted to Liguria; it was due to her choice that the villa became a summer boarding house for tourists. After a thorough renovation which emphasizes its original structure, the Villa hotel has become a charming Hotel and refined restaurant.

ROOMS There are 26 rooms elegantly furnished by Morelato in Déco & Luigi Filippo décor, yet appointed with all modern amenities such as air conditioning summer/winter, wakeup service, internet connection, minibar and safe, spacious bathrooms with inox accessories and Simmos special mattresses.
Standard double or triple rooms have complete services including: telephone, internet connection, TV, air conditioning, shower, hairdryer.
Suite rooms furnished in decň style have large living area with a double divan bed and stairs leading to a sleeping area on a mezzanine floor with a sea view through the very high windows. Suite have spacious bathrooms and are equipped with hydromassage showers, hairdryer, telephone, internet connection, air conditioning winter/summer, digital safe, minibar, luxury amenities. Add €156 per person.

HISTORY During a careful restoration in 2005 fully respecting the original structure many ancient parts have been uncovered;
In the reception, on the ground floor an ancient well was discovered and restored. The well was probably used to supply water for the kitchens.
On the first floor the false ceiling panels were removed, discovering the old 5 metres hight vaulted ceilings and interesting frescos.
The height permitted the realization of prestigious Suite rooms; arranged on 2 different levels which vary in size from 40 to 60 sq.m ; with a night area upstairs and a living area down stairs.
On the first and second floors the typical Genoese granite floors, hidden by other covering floors, was saved and polished and also the original wooden doors and windows were replaced with their fashionable handles.
SPOTORNO AND ITS BAY Spotorno boasts the blue flag of Europe 2006 and has the most beautiful bay and beach shore which extends from Bergeggi Island at the east to Noli promontory at the west.
Spotorno has received the prize for “ the green town ” for those councils, who in particular distinguish them selves during the years for the activity of preserving the land as well as retraining operations and social environment.
NOTE:
1. Prices in 'euros' and based on 2 people sharing a double room,
otherwise a single supplement applies. Prices for bookings during
the winter months can be up to 20% less. Flights and transfers
not included unless specified.
2. The hotels, guest houses and B&Bs presented represent
some of the more charming places to stay and are very well situated
for exploring the surrounding towns, cities and countryside -
always within easy reach of a regional airport. Having visited
virtually all hotels in each of the places presented, we believe
these hotels offer the best combination of price and quality
available.
3. Fly-Train holidays: fly to the recommended airport
and take a train to the place you will be staying for your Short
Break. For packages with airport transfers included, please note
the following differences;
i). Airport transfer train tickets only: Transfer train tickets
are forwarded to you with your Trip Guide prior to your departure.
ii). Escorted airport transfers by train with separate luggage
transfers: After you have collected your luggage, we will meet
you at the airport arrivals hall and accompany you to your hotel
by train. Your luggage will be taken separately to your hotel,
leaving you free to travel in comfort. Escorted transfers are
only available on Short Breaks arriving and departing on Wednesdays
and Sundays, unless stated otherwise.
iii). Airport transfer times are generally less than 1 hour by
train, and are often included in the package price.
4. Fly-MeetU holidays: fly to the recommended airport
where we will meet you on your arrival and take you to your hotel
either by car or mini-bus.
5. Fly-Drive holidays: these short-breaks are typically
in places that are not served by regular public transport or
areas deserving further independent exploration under your own
steam. Therefore, we thoroughly recommend that you arrange car-hire
at your point of arrival in Italy, or use your own car if driving
down.
6. All our Short Breaks can be extended by as many days as you
wish - please ask for a quotation.
