This
festive break offers a leisurely christmas week during which
you can relax or sightsee as much as you wish. Daily itineraries
are available and range from leisurely strolls around some of
Ligurias' most beautiful Riviera resort towns, to full and half-day
self-guided walking itineraries along some of the Rivieras' most
scenic and often unknown stretches of coast.
Description: Spend Christmas and
possibly the New Year too on Italy's beautiful and mild Ligurian
Riviera. Enjoy a relaxing week just pottering around or walk
as many of our self-guided itineraries as you wish, to discover
better the Italian Riviera. Daytime temperatures during the winter
rarely drop below 12 degrees C, with 14/16 degree maximums possible
even on New Year's day - under a blue sky and a winter sun, it
is not so uncommon to see 'odd' people taking a swim.
Ideal: For those who'd like
to get away to somewhere different for the festivities, to relax
but have the possibility to better explore the Levante Riviera
and resort towns should they wish. Leisurely strolls around coastal
towns or full-day, moderately paced walking tours. |
Holiday starts: Fly
to Genoa or Pisa airport. Convenient railway services to resort
village from Pisa and Genoa airports. Airport transfers from
Genoa (1h30) and Pisa (2h15).
What’s Included: Airport transfers from Genoa. Excellent
food and half-board accommodation in an elegant 3 star hotel
in one of the Levante Riviera's most beautiful seaside resorts,
self-guide packs for your chosen daily itineraries.
What’s Not Included: Flight tickets, train travel

Plan to arrive in the afternoon/evening of the 24th. Christmas
Eve is the main, most celebrated festive dinner in Italy, so
arrive early and allow yourself time to settle in. |
Hotels: You will be staying
in the resort village pictured above, next to the beach at the
elegant 3 star hotel pictured to the right. It is extremely
well situated for much of the Riviera coast and just over 1 hour
from Genoa airport.

for the visits to Liguria's seaside resorts, which are typically
leisurely strolls around the resort centre and promenade.
- For those wishing to do some of our full and half-day self-guided
walking itineraries, a reasonable level of fitness is required
and you should at least be fairly used to regular walking.
- All of the daily itineraries above are suggestions and can
be changed with any of our itineraries described in Italian Riviera
