Day 1: Transfer Day. For those flying to Pisa airport, try to arrive before 4pm for a comfortable transfer by train to the Cinque Terre and your 'albergo' where you will be staying for 3 nights. For those driving, aim to arrive anytime after lunch. View photos of Manarola.
Day 2: A day in the magnificent Cinque Terre. Self-guided itinerary to discover the unique and beautiful Cinque Terre. Visit each of the 5 picturesque villages of this most famous coast - Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso. Choose to travel between villages by train, boat or on foot. Train trips between individual villages take about 5 mins. Light and leisurely, independent, self-guided sightseeing itinerary.

Day 3: Portofino and the National Park. Short train trip along the coast to Santa Margherita and Portofino. Optional boat trip from Portofino to Camogli via the beautiful old abbey of San Fruttuoso (not during the winter months). Optional walk up into the Portofino National Park for those who wish to see the beautiful views from the hills above. Light and leisurely, independent, self-guided sightseeing itinerary. Day 4: Pisa City Visit. Time for a final stroll around the village you have been staying in. Morning train back to Pisa and your hotel, situated in the historic centre of Pisa. Day 5: Transfer day. For those flying out of Pisa airport, morning and perhaps the afternoon in Pisa, depending on flight departure times. 15min transfer to Pisa airport for your flight home.
